Restaurant Platana

A strong determination

Valérie and Jean-Loïc lived in Guadeloupe. He wanted to move to Montreal and open a restaurant with an African and Caribbean theme. We started the process before they arrived, saving them time and money.

From a distance

We worked remotely by videoconference. We defined exactly the concept they wanted to bring to market. We carried out various market studies, such as segmentation of the target clientele, and the appropriate location for the concept. A study of the competition was also carried out. When it came to finding premises, we opted to buy a restaurant that was already on the market, which meant we could set up more quickly. We negotiated the lease and undertook communication strategies for the restaurant’s start-up.

A great success

In conclusion, Valérie and Jean took the initiative by working on their business and financial plan, in order to foresee the feasibility of the project. All from a distance. This enabled them to better prepare their arrival and succeed in opening their themed catering concept.
